Our new boots Intapol style 27951 Men's 17 Inch Polishable Leather Trooper Boots are rugged and highly functional and improved version now with Upldated improved polishable leather when compared to the old previous style availabe from Chippewa.   Features include Goodyear welt construction and oil and heat resistant sole, antimicrobial footbed and interior boot hooks.  The tall, 17-inch design features non-tarnishable hardware and upper padding for a comfortable fit.  Superior slip-resistant traction on a variety of surfaces.  Fully lined on the inside with leather and reinforced toe pads protect the toe and arch from fatigue.  In stock available sizes include 8 through 14 with D/E regular shoe width and extra wide EE shoe widths.  

Fit guidance:  If you have never worn this type of boot please note that they do not fit like regular shoes because they do not hug your heel like regular duty boots/shoes or running sneakers do.  First time wearers often feel this style of boot runs large as the optimal size in our boots may not necessarily coincide with their regular shoe size or duty boots size.  Therefore, many officers size down either a 1/2 size or one full size which can vary depending on your point of reference.   

Calf widths for sizes 8 through 9.5 measure 17" wide.  Calf widths for sizes 10 through 11 measure 17 3/4" wide.  Calf widths for sizes 11.5 through 14 measure 18.5" wide.  To ensure correct calf fit,  please make sure your calf size is slightly below these measurements as listed.  Proper calf size is the the measurement in inches over the breeches (not on skin) around the widest part of your calf.
